About Loks
Loks is an Icelandic classifieds marketplace where individuals and companies can buy, sell, rent and advertise jobs in one place.
What Loks is
On Loks you can find everything from shoes and cars to apartments and jobs. Everything is shown in Icelandic, prices are in Icelandic krónur and search is built around Icelandic postcodes and municipalities.
The marketplace brings together what used to be spread across many groups: property, vehicles, items and employment.
Moderation and reputation
- Moderation and automated screening keep listings clean. Buyers and sellers rate each other, and anyone can report an ad.
- Accounts that break the rules are blocked and their listings come down.
Easy to post and find
To sell, just pick a category, add a title, description, price and photos. Search results are ranked by quality, distance and how fresh the listing is.
Optional promotion
Highlighting in lists and homepage placement are optional paid extras that increase visibility. They are always marked as sponsored, do not guarantee a sale and prices are shown in ISK.
