Safe trading

The best rules are simple: meet in a public place, inspect the item before you pay and keep the conversation inside Loks.

Meet in public

  • Choose open, busy areas during the day, preferably where other people are around.
  • Bring a friend or family member if you can, especially for larger trades.
  • For cars and property it is good to be two people and inspect the documents together.

Do not pay for unseen items

Avoid sending money in advance for items you have not seen. If a seller pushes for shipping or an unusual payment method, that is a sign of a scam.

Use the Loks chat

Keep communication inside the platform. This makes it easier to get evidence if something goes wrong, and you can see how quickly a seller usually replies.

Check the seller

  • Check the seller: look at the profile, the reviews and how long the account has been active.
  • If a listing sounds too good to be true, it probably is a scam.

Report suspicious content

Use the report button on every listing if something seems off. Staff review the case and can hide content or restrict access.

Job listings

For job ads, confirm the employer before sending personal information. Never send your national ID or bank details on first contact.
